Firecracker Red, Patriotic Blue

Time to get out the fun stuff! And I'm all into red stripes for the celebration. Just Hebrew National hotdogs with the fixin's for us this year. What could be easier?

A few farmstyle accessories and we're good to go!

Don't you love all the farm fresh peaches, apples, and berries this time of year? It makes me all nostalgic for that romanticized farm life I never had! *smile*

But I swear I can hear the flies buzzing and the slap of an old screen door on a hot New Mexico afternoon. (Okay we can do without the flies!)

A few old fashioned linens complete the scene. . . .

Let the good times roll!
Happy Fourth of July to y'all!
Hope it's fun. . . .

Jacqueline

Your red and white theme will work well for us here in Canada too Jacqueline. I found the same straws at Winners recently and will use them at our family reunion next weekend. Have a happy July 4th!

One of my favorite sounds, the screen door shutting! I insisted I have one just like the Walton's did on TV. I love it. And I love the red and white.

Hello Jacqueline,

Happy Sunday. Your table design celebrating the Fourth of July is the prettiest I've seen. I adore your vintage linens. I especially like the blue and white toile tablecloth and all the little fun details. Just beautiful.

Again, beautiful red and white. It's strong color scheme, but it really speaks to me and draws me in.

I love your red/white table for the holiday, Jacqueline. And what could be better than hot dogs? (Not much!) We had hot dogs, too, followed by ice cream sundaes at our local creamery. And we all wore vintage red, white and blue necklaces passed down from my aunt who loved all things patriotic. Hoping your day was lovely, too!
