Teacups & Roses

I don't have a huge selection of  rosy teacups so I'm always on the lookout for them. This beautiful cup and saucer recently crossed my path at a local flea market. It might have been the only good thing I found that day, but certainly worth the trip.

A few new rose blooms made me feel like today was a good day to show it off.

There is no mark, but I'm thinking it may be German or Bavarian. Any idea? It's shown here against a bit of Limoges china. I love the cheery mixture.

It's already quite hot here in the desert southwest, but summer still feels light and fresh this early in the season, so I'm using a lot of the colors to match. And roses and teacups just seem made for each other! Don't you think?

So many rosey days ahead!
I love summer!
Hope your day is turning out lovely too!

Jacqueline
