No matter what else I do, I always have vintage for Christmas. I don't use a lot of color as a rule, but the ol' red and green always finds a way in somewhere.
There's a bit more of my vintage apron and applique muslin towel, and a few cool vintage look items I recently found on the archive blog here.
Is it all in full swing for you now? I've got old holiday jazz going in the background while I dust and clean, but I hope you're having way more fun than that!
Stay cheery!
Jacqueline

Love the vintaage items. Loving Pokey's book. Is it a new one. Myfavorite story when I was little.
I am pretty neutral around here too.But I do have a few pops of red too!

What a sweet apron. I remember that little story book. I love Golden Books but they sure aren't as cheap as they used to be are they? I have a lot of red in my decor at Christmas. The only time of year I have it. :)
Christmas isn't Christmas without some red and green. Cut finds all.
Hugs and happy holidays,
Patti
Hi J,
It's baking, dusting and cleaning here too. some old Jazz, thats what I need:-)
Hugs :-)
It's so lovely to read how every one of us is enjoying Christmas and 'decking our halls'! Those little Golden Books bring back so many memories, Jacqueline. I have the ones from my own child growing up, as well as those I've bought for my grandchildren. The illustrations and colors are so lovely, and just the right size for small hands.
Jacqueline,
You tricked me for a moment!!!
Love your traditioanl hues, dear friend!
Poky Little Pupy was our younger sons favorite reading book!!! Priceless memories!
Fondly,
Pat
I love your vintage Christmas items, especially that beautiful apron. And so glad to hear that you are listening to old holiday jazz--perfect for any occasion, even cleaning! My sweet hubby and I sang at a jam session last night, and got to do several classic jazz standards--it was lovely, and the audience loved it and danced the night away! Take care, and have a wonderful weekend!
Love your touches of vintage red and green.
Laura
Thanks for stopping by to visit, I am so behind on my visiting. As you know I love vintage christmas. Love the picture of the ornament tucked in the apron pocket.
Always loved the pokey little puppy books! Nothing like vintage Christmas!
